HOW TO POUR A PREMIUM BEER

Since Old Credit takes a great deal

of time to brew 3 exceptional beers, why not take a moment to learn how to pour them to perfection?

Keep in mind that a beer head not only looks good, it releases the aromas and flavour characteristics of the beer and that makes it essential to the enjoyment of beer!

Make sure the glass is washed in a mild soap-free detergent. Soap, milk, tea, coffee and lipstick can leave a fatty residue on the glass that may diminish the all-important beer head.

Rinse the glass several times in warm water, finishing with a very cold rinse. Leave the inside of the glass wet.

For Old Credit Amber Ale and

Holiday Honey, tilt the glass 45 degrees and gently pour the beer aiming at the halfway point in the glass. When the glass is about half full, straighten the glass and keep pouring the beer to create the perfect beer head ??? about 1.5 inches.

For Old Credit Pale Pilsner,

keep the glass vertical, place the

neck of the bottle over the edge, and tilt the bottle to a high angle so that the beer gurgles straight into the glass. When the desired beer head is created (about 2 inches), lower the angle of the bottle and keep pouring until the foam approaches the top of the glass.

Bring the glass to your lips, close your eyes, and savour that first sip!
